Consider the influence that technology has had in this century. We are dependent on technology like never before. It has become customary for technology devices to assist our day to day functionality.

Devices or things like the smartphone or smart alarm clocks, automated coffee makers, home security devices, and city enabled street traffic signals and lighting to simply name a few.

The three key components in society that have developed as technology, computers, and IoT have evolved include issues of control, information gathering, and automation and robotics.
